Teeth Extractions: At Smile Circle Dental, we strive to repair damaged teeth, restoring their health and function. However, extraction may be necessary for a tooth damaged beyond repair due to extensive decay, infection, or trauma or to alleviate dental crowding. We may also recommend the extraction of wisdom teeth, which often present challenges such as impaction, misalignment, or risk of infection.

Our experienced team offers both simple and surgical extractions, ensuring your procedure is handled with precision and care. Depending on the location of your affected tooth, we may recommend a tooth replacement option, such as a dental bridge or implant, to maintain the alignment of your teeth and bite and enhance your oral health.

Dental Implants: Implant dentistry is the gold standard for replacing missing teeth, restoring healthy, functional smiles. The dental implant procedure involves surgically placing a small titanium post in your jawbone, which mimics the function of your missing tooth roots. Our experienced team uses the latest technology for planning treatment and advanced guided surgery for precision, comfort, and accuracy.

Over time, your implant will fuse with your jawbone in a process known as osseointegration, providing a stable and durable foundation for one or more replacement teeth. Bone Grafting: When considering implant dentistry to restore your smile, you need adequate bone density in the area for the procedure's success. If you have bone loss or your jawbone is too thin or soft to support the implant on its own, we may recommend a bone graft to rebuild the bone volume and density in the area.

We may also recommend a bone grafting procedure known as ridge preservation following tooth extraction to prevent the degeneration of the bone in the area and ensure the success of future implant placement. The procedure involves placing bone grafting material right after extraction, which helps protect the tooth's socket, preserve the alveolar ridge, and prevent bone loss.

Crown Lengthening: This surgical procedure involves reshaping the gum tissue and sometimes even the underlying bone to expose more of the tooth's surface for restorative or cosmetic purposes. It may be necessary when considering a dental crown or bridge placement, but not enough of the tooth protrudes above the gum line to support the prosthetic.

Crown lengthening can also correct a "gummy smile" where more of the gums than your tooth structure is visible. The quick and straightforward procedure helps deliver a more balanced, symmetrical smile.
